What does facade and insulation work include?

Why insulate a house?
Insulating the walls cuts heat loss through the external walls and therefore heating costs. It also gives the house a new facade finish, so the building gets a renewed look.
Is there funding for insulating a house in Poland?
Insulating the building envelope is one of the measures covered by the government “Czyste Powietrze” (Clean Air) programme for detached houses. Applications are handled by the regional environmental protection and water management funds (WFOŚiGW); it is worth checking the current conditions before signing a contract.
Owners of detached houses can also claim part of the cost through the thermo-modernisation tax relief (ulga termomodernizacyjna) in Polish income tax.
